Holiday Math: Omie’s Scientific Cure for Festive Chaos
It’s that time of year again. The living room is an explosion of wrapping paper, the guest list seems to be multiplying on its own, and you have ten seconds to figure out where you put the tape.
We all know that holiday frazzle. Zara is definitely feeling the pressure of trying to calculate the impossible holiday equation. Fortunately, her trusty (and deeply logical) microbial sidekick, Omie, has developed a scientific hypothesis to keep morale high and energy levels stable.
Let’s see if his theory holds up to peer review...
Okay, so Omie might be slightly biased toward sugary data points. But he has a solid point!
The holidays are a marathon, not a sprint. Trying to be perfect and denying yourself moments of joy. Yes, including festive treats only adds to the stress load. And we know that chronic stress is one of the biggest disruptors of a happy gut.
While cookies shouldn’t be the only fuel in your tank (don’t forget hydration and some fiber-rich veggies!), Omie is right: sometimes a shared snack break is the essential “constant” you need to reset your mood and enjoy the moment.
We are definitely adopting Omie’s “Snack Constant” theory this year.
