The Pakora Detour

Zara can’t resist the smell of sizzling pakoras from a street-side vendor and decides to treat herself. Almost instantly, excitement turns into worry. What if Ma gets upset? What if she thinks Zara spoiled her appetite for dinner? Zara sneaks into the house, mentally preparing for a lecture. Instead, Ma catches the aroma, smiles, and says the pakoras are exactly what they needed with the daal chawal she’s already cooking. No scolding. No drama. Just perfect timing. Sometimes the biggest stress comes from the stories we invent in our heads.
