Wellness was supposed to help us feel better.
Somehow, it also gave us a rather impressive to-do list.
Take the supplements. Drink the water. Get the steps. Track the sleep. Meditate. Stretch. Journal. Get outside.
All useful things.
But there’s an interesting contradiction in feeling stressed about doing all the things that are supposed to make us feel well.
We’ve become very good at adding.
Perhaps wellness could occasionally be about subtraction too.
Less noise. Less rushing. Less complexity.
And fewer things to remember to do.
