In this latest installment of Zara + Omie, the quiet neighborhood afternoon doesn’t last long — because mischief is always just around the corner.
Meet Veer and Jay, making their comic debut with strong (and hilariously opposite) first impressions. Veer is the kind of kid who walks onto the playground with a mission — and a three-step strategy. Jay? He’d rather stick to math formulas and avoid all the chaos… or at least try.
Zara spots her neighbor Veer outside after school, already plotting his next big move. The two quickly team up and head to Jay’s place, determined to lure him out of the house. Zara’s no stranger to Veer’s bold ideas, but when he declares:
“We play. We conquer. We avoid homework.” — she knows it’s going to be one of those afternoons.
This strip marks the debut of Veer and Jay — two new characters with personalities that couldn’t be more different. Veer is all confidence and strategy, while Jay would honestly rather stay in and solve equations. But even Jay can’t resist the tug of a good plan (or peer pressure).
