The Water Bottle Olympics
It’s warm-up time, and Coach T is barking orders:
“Hydration is not optional!”
While Zara quietly sips from her water bottle, Aari rolls in with confidence, announcing she drank “so much fruit punch yesterday.”
Spoiler: fruit ≠ water, and Aari’s gut crew is about to find that out the hard way.
Inside her system, Omie is panicked. The microbes are exhausted. They’re trying to digest… in a desert.
As the laps begin, Zara is steady and energized. Aari, on the other hand, is wilting like a raisin. Because as she quickly learns:
Fruit punch doesn’t hydrate. Raisins don’t run. And “flavored” isn’t the same as “functional.”
Luckily, it only takes one real sip of water to turn it all around. (Even if Omie is still holding a grudge.)
Because hydration isn’t hype —
it’s survival.
