You’re not always bloated.
Sometimes, you’re just emotionally full.

Think of your mind like a browser with 37 tabs open. Each tab is a thought, a worry, a memory, a “don’t forget to…” reminder. Even if your stomach isn’t overloaded, your nervous system might be.

When your mental tabs keep spinning, your body can feel the strain—tight shoulders, shallow breathing, that heaviness in your middle. It’s not always from what you ate. Sometimes it’s from everything you haven’t processed.

Shut some windows.
Take a breath.
Put down the phone.
Step outside for fresh air.
Write down the one or two things you actually need to focus on right now.

You’ll be amazed how unburdened you feel—not just in your body, but in your mind—when you give yourself permission to close a few tabs.
